2026-27 Central Bucks School District Program Planning
Central Bucks High School East

November 2025

Dear Parents and/or Guardians,

Due to grade re-alignment, the Central Bucks School District will begin the course selection process earlier than in previous years.  Beginning Monday December 1st, 2025, through Friday January 9th, 2026, all secondary students will begin entering their course requests for the following year through the Parent Portal.  The 2026-2027 Program of Studies will be posted online in November for you and your students to access. Additionally, the course selection sheet and scheduling worksheet will be helpful tools in this process.  Students can also view course description videos at Program Planning Videos.

School Counselors will be presenting to sophomores and juniors throughout December in small groups to present and explain the course options.  During these presentations the graduation requirements, college requirements and course registration deadlines will be explained.  Students are free to register for courses prior to hearing the presentation and then make changes as needed via the portal or may wait until the presentation if they are unsure of the process.

Course verification sheets will be posted on-line through the portal on Thursday Feb 12th 2026 to confirm student course requests.  Students will be permitted to make changes to their course requests until Wednesday February 20th 2026 by submitting this form Course Change Request Through February 20 to their counselor.

Students will not be able to make changes to these requests after Wednesday February 20th, 2026, unless it is due to a level change or failure to meet a prerequisite. After February 20th, in order to request a change, students must submit this form Course Change Request

We are hopeful that this program will allow more opportunity for students and parents to discuss course requests at home with time to read about the many classes offered by the district.  We will also ask if you have any problems, do not hesitate to seek assistance.
