Ruth Foster works in the Office of Climate Resilience in the NJ Department of Environmental Protection. Studied Geology at Smith College in Massachusetts

  • Marine Biologist
  • Wildlife Biologist
  • Geologist

• Advice!
  • Take time to figure out what you like! There’s no need to rush if you don’t know yet.
    • Internships are extremely helpful for figuring out what you want to do
  • Many people learn a lot on jobs that wasn’t taught in college
  • National Parks services and the military has many jobs available within the environmental science field
